Michael enjoyed his first leading West End role earlier this year when he played Billy Flynn in CHICAGO at the Strand Theatre. His other numerous theatre credits include ALL'S WELL THAT ENDS WELL for the Oxford Stage Company, DON JUAN for the BAC, in which he played the lead, WEST SIDE STORY at the Leicester Haymarket, Don Pedro in MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING Carney in BILOXI BLUES and THE STORY OF DAVID at the Sydmonton Festival.

TV credits include CALL RED for Thames TV, FAITH IN THE FUTURE for LWT, LOVE HURTS for the BBC and ACADEMY for Worldwide. Michael is famous for his role as Beppe di Marco in EASTENDERS and also recently starred in the thriller MURDER IN MIND for the BBC.

Film credits include LEO for Ducker Films and a cameo role in the new British comedy FAT SLAGS

Michael showed the public another string to his bow this year when he presented ITV's one off event BRITAIN'S SEXIEST.

Celebrity Love Island

Michael's latest venture is Celebrity Love Island.

Michael will be joining other SEX-MAD celebs on the Fijian island of Bounty, in the South Pacific.

Stars of ITV's Celebrity Love Island, including Abi Titmuss and Rebecca Loos will spend five lust-filled weeks at a wild eco-resort.

The 12 sizzling celebs all jet off this week. The show will see the stars pairing off with one another - with the couple that stays together longest sharing a $100,00 prize.

The Celeb line up includes another ex-Eastender, Judi Shekoni, TV's Jayne Middlemiss, former Atomic Kitten Liz McClarnon and Lady Isabella Hervey.

The other male talent comes in the shape of Calum Best, Fran Cosgrove, Lee Sharpe and Paul Danan.

The show is to be hosted by Kelly Brook and Patrick Kielty.
